This week we launched a new promotion for Jason Mraz that has been getting some nice pickup in the media. We are releasing Jason’s new album via mobile phones – one song each day for 11 days leading up to street date. Fans can text “Mraz” to 33033 to get a pre-recorded call from Jason. In the call, Jason will introduce his new album, and fans will hear a clip from a song. This promotion ran for eleven days, with Jason introducing a new clip from a new song each day. Full track versions of each clip were posted on Jason’s MySpace page by 10pm on each day and remained streaming for 48 hours.
