While in San Francisco for the Adobe MAX Conference I was able to check out a few local art shows, with the work of Al Farrow really standing out to me. His recent sculptures are of buildings with religious signifigance (mosques, temples, cathedrals) build entirely out of guns and bullets. They are ecceptionally well crafted, beautiful and draw the viewer in very close before they realize what it is they are seeing. I’ve included a pic from the show below.
