Evolution of the banner ad

I pretty interesting article talking about how a group of major publishers who are unhappy with banner ad performance are working to come up with new more dynamic solutions. For better or for worse the immediate solution looks a lot like more/different types of banner ads, but important info for people on the strategy/design/ux side of creative houses to be conginsect of.
