Paramore has always been a symbolic band for WMG and the Atlantic/WEA Direct to Consumer teams. They were our first 360 success at WMG, our first big D2C success, and the site which (literally) acted as a template for every site that came after it until a few weeks ago. This was my first big launch at Atlantic under our once new, now five year old, strategy.
There were a few launches I impacted enough on to warrant hanging a plaque on my wall, but this was the only one that involved a project I was incredibly proud of for a band I truly admire. This is definitely one of the bands I will miss working with most and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this group of kids from Tennessee.
