Stupid Name. Cool Brushes!

The title says it all. Brusheezy is a great site for downloading free Photoshop brushes and patterns and voting on your favorites. It’s a mixed bag as far as quality, and there is no categorization or searching, but all in all there are a lot of great sets if you are patient.

Robert Rauschenberg

One of my favorite artists, and a huge influence on everything I have created as a designer and an artist, has died today of heart failure at the age of 82. His retrospective at MOMA was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, and his show of new work at PaceWildenstein in Chelsea showed the breadth of his life’s work. It’s a truly sad day.
